Bokhara is open on ALL holiday days for
arrivals & departures from
9:00am-12:00pm Only
on the following holiday days - Easter Sunday,
Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day,
Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, etc. for your
convenience. We are open 7 days per week -
365 days per year!
AFTER HOURS arrival &
pick up can only be arranged by a confirmed pre-appointment at an
additional fee
(but not on any actual Holiday Dates).
Confirmation of an after hours arrival or departure
requires an advance one night non-refundable
deposit at least 3-5 days prior to that
pre-confirmed arrival or departure so Bokhara
can schedule time and staffing for that early or
late arrival time. Please review our

Feline
Guests
are not boarded in small cages nor in the same areas as dogs such as
your veterinarian or other kennels may use, but our
purr...line guests are quartered in large suites all
containing play and climbing toys, comfy sleeping beds and extra
large litter boxes - all within a completely separate, quiet,
very quaint, and
unique antique late 1800's era guest cottage.
Bokhara provides
CAGE-FREE feline boarding in our large suites
(Library & Playroom), and in our Standard 8' x 8' feline
accommodation suites located in an old
Victorian cottage.

Our
Grounds & Facility:
Once you drive down our long wooded driveway and step
through our door at Bokhara, your experience will begin with
a smile, a friendly face, and when you leave, you will leave
with the satisfaction of knowing your pet was in loving and
caring hands. Bokhara Pet Resort & Grooming Spa is
located on 14 acres of lush pine forest, with manicured
lawns and flower gardens.
Bokhara enjoys
300 feet of
private Elk Lake shoreline all for the enjoyment of your
pet and you the owner. We are proud of our commitment to maintaining a
lovely facility for our pet and human guests to enjoy.
Security:
Our boarding facility is
double fenced outside so that boarding guests may not leave the
facility, and also so that unwanted guests may not get into the
facility. Our outer perimeter fencing is from ground to
roofline for that added protection of our guests. Gates
are locked at all times and fire detection equipment is in
place.

north of the
Grand Traverse Resort & Casino

may have more specialized needs. SmallWorld offers
FREE roaming play and FREE BUDDY PLAY for those
socially inclined small pets.
