It doesn't matter what time you arrive for check-in as long
as it is during our open times on that day. Our
check out time is always Noon with a grace period until
1:00pm.
After
1:00pm until 3:00pm (midweek and Saturday) there is an
additional 1/2 day board charged,
and between 3:00pm and 5:30pm (midweek) we charge an
additional day's board.
On Sunday our open hours are 9:00am - Noon, and from
5:00pm-6:00pm. Pick-up during our Sunday evening hours
are for you
convenience and a full day board is charge for that day.

Holiday Rates
are the day of the holiday and the day on
each side of the holiday for a total of
3 days charged at
the Holiday rate.
Between December 23rd -
January 2nd, and Spring Break Week
the Holiday
Rate is in effect for the entire week of that break.
The reason for the $2 increase over holiday and spring break
periods is to help cover the additional staffing
requirements.
First Time Visit & Senior Discounts are valid during the
holiday periods.

If after hours times are approved, a non-refundable deposit of one
night is required to hold that reservation.
Early Arrivals
between 7am and our normal opening times are charge $25.
Earlier arrivals than 7am will be charged additionally,
please speak with us directly for approval - by
pre-arrangement only.
Late Check Ins or Late
Departs are charged starting at $25 between our
posted closing times and 8pm. After 8pm until 10pm
there is a $50 charge for opening for a late check in or
a late check out - By pre-arrangement only.

Admissions: We reserve the right to deny admittance to pets
lacking proof of vaccinations, and/or pets displaying signs of untreated or
potentially contagious conditions, and/or aggressive behavior.
We reserve the
right to charge handling fees for excessively difficult or aggressive pets
requiring additional staff and\or additional time in order that we may deliver
proper care. Upon admission for services,
your signature of contract acknowledges your awareness and
acceptance of our policies.
Minimum age for all services is
4 months of age with a minimum of two sets of vaccinations current.
Health

All pets arriving must be in good health with vaccination
records current. Any pet with signs of pest infestations
will be bathed and dipped at the owners expense. Grooming or
bathing is recommended for all pets at departing date. Any
pet requiring medical attention will be taken to the
veterinarian. Charges will be at the owner's expense. Every
effort will be taken to contact pet owner prior to
treatment.

Required
Vaccinations:
The essential vaccinations for your pet are as follows:
Dogs: Rabies, 1 or 3 year (puppies six months of age)
DHLP, 1 or 3 years
*Bordetella, (administered within the
previous 6
months, and more than seven days from a boarding
reservation).
This is for the protection of your pet and all
of our other guests major
holidays, spring break and the summertime (May 1 - October 15th)
are
the primary periods where the
canine cough virus is most prevalent. We recommend that the Bordetella be given in the NOSE
DROP
form TWICE per year for more protection against this virus.
Canine Influenza
(highly recommended)
For 1st Visit Guests we do
prefer that the vaccination records be faxed to us in advance -

verify that all of the
vaccinations are current and up to date.
Cats:
Rabies, 1 or 3 years
FVRCP, 1 year

All vaccination records must be from a licensed veterinarian.
Additionally, we require that you maintain a year-round treatment for ticks
and fleas in order to protect our resort from any contamination and thus
protect all of the pets. We recommend topical solutions such as Advantage and
Frontline. These products are available over the counter or from your
veterinarian. We do not suggest collar
prevention methods.
Please talk to your veterinarian about your options and frequency of treatment.

Bordetella is a
vaccination to help prevent a condition known as "canine
cough". It has shown that this vaccination has little
protection after six months, thus we require that it be
administered within the six months prior to a board or
grooming stay. It has also been a known fact that the
vaccination can cause a break through and actually cause a
mild form of canine cough so it is advisable that all
Bordetella vaccinations be given a minimum of seven days prior to any boarding stay. Please note that Bordetella is a virus family of over 200 strains and that
all vaccinations on the market today only cover about 30 of
the most common strains. Bordetella vaccinations do
not guarantee any protection from this virus, but it does
help if the strains encountered are of the most common
variety. Bokhara Pet Resort takes care to make sure
that all pets are vaccinated against canine cough, but we DO
NOT take responsibility for any break through, or outbreaks
in this large family of virus.
Medication Administrations:
No charge for medications, vitamins, food supplements, heartworm meds,
or chewable meds if they are readily eaten from
the hand or can be mixed in with their food. Extensive medications
may be charged according to the administration times and frequency -
to be determined.
Insulin - $5 per injection between the hours of 8am - 9pm.
Injections before or after 8am - 9pm will be charged at $8 per injection.
Refrigeration is available for storing your pet's insulin.
Geriatric Charges may be added if we deem necessary -
Starting at $5 per day additional.
Sanitary
Clean-Up Shampoo & Dry Baths:
Our policy is not to send home smelly pets, thus any
dog at the Resort may need a clean up
shampoo and dry for a very nominal charge. We use our discretion (nose) on dogs
to determine if they should have a shampoo and dry before being
picked up.
