Professional Dog Groomer - Ellen White is a graduate of the
International Nash Academy of Dog Grooming School.

Along with Ellen's years of practical application and her
professional training and schooling, our groomer does know

Why does my dog need a bath before coming home
after a boarding stay?
Boarded pets do not stay as
clean as they do at home for several reasons. Dogs are very active in the kennel and are
normally exercised on concrete, not grass or gravel which helps them stay cleaner but is
impossible to disinfect. Although our staff is vigilant in scooping and cleaning, dogs may
soil their feet and coat. Longer coated breeds will become more soiled than shorter coats
but to ensure a happy and sweet smelling homecoming, both should have a bath prior to
going home. |

staff, working with professional equipment, to assure your satisfaction and your
pet's safety and comfort. Our stylists have experience with all breeds of
cats and dogs, and will consult with you to provide the look you want.

Note: Often we are asked to bath pets to remove noxious odors,
i.e. skunk, depending upon the severity of the condition - it is not
guaranteed that all of the odors can be removed as sensitive areas such
as eyes, ears, etc. can't be suds effectively. In many cases it
will take multiple bathing to remove most of the odors.
