At Bokhara Pet Resort, we pamper your pets - dog or cat, long-haired or short-haired - with medicated and natural flea baths...scissor finishing...and TLC (no tranquilizes used).  We have spa treatments and grooming techniques that you could never do at home. Our grooming staff is experienced in bathing  and trims. Regular grooming not only helps pets look (and smell) better, it keeps them healthier, as well.   We offer the HydroSurge Massaging Bathing System for your pet’s enjoyment.  Our stylists have professional experience with all breeds of cats and dogs, and will consult with you to provide the finished look that you want for your pet.  Salon rates are dependent on the breed, coat condition and your special requests.

Full Service Grooming & Special Styling: Includes our above Bath Treatment plus hand scissoring per breed-specific standards and/or to owner's specifications, including the trimming of pasterns, hocks, tail, hair in-between the toes, and furnishings. Ask our staff for suggested styles and treatments or products to make your pet look and feel their best.  Our professional grooming staff will help your pet look and feel their best by cutting, clipping, brushing and even polishing nails if requested. Your pet can be polished and pampered to look his or her best!  We offer the finishing touches: Bows, Bandanas, and Braids. Inquire with our pet care professionals for suggested treatments or products for your pet.

Note:  Often we are asked to bathe pets to remove noxious odors, i.e. skunk, depending upon the severity of the condition - it is not guaranteed that all of the odors can be removed as sensitive areas such as around the eyes, ears, and nostrils, etc. can't be suds effectively.  In many cases it will take multiple bathing to remove most of the odors.

Our salon features a bathing area with a drying and styling room.  We offer caring and certified staff, working with professional equipment, to assure your satisfaction and your pet's safety and comfort.  And, to top off a day at the Spa, how about a relaxing and healthy 10-15 minute session on our Doggie Treadmill to tone up those muscles making exercise and fitness a true Spa experience!

Why may my dog need a shampoo and dry before coming home from a boarding stay?    Boarded pets do not stay as clean as they do at home for several reasons.  Although our staff is vigilant in scooping and cleaning the boarding patios, dogs may soil their feet and coat. Longer coated breeds will become more soiled than shorter coats but to ensure a happy and sweet smelling homecoming we provide a very nominally charged shampoo & dry prior to going home.
